Triggering ED/Abuse - Pica?

On top of my already nomally not right eating patterns
recently shauna pointed out i may also have pica
i had never herd of this before
and now im kinda now liking this

i have a new fear of becoming poisoned
but i cant stop
i love tar
and plaster
and foam insulation
it doesnt help my fiance does construction

i cant avoid these things
and i really cant fight the urges to eat rocks and paper
or window sils

anyone have pica?
or any advise on ways i can be more picky with what i choose so i dont die from poison?

I've never had this problem, but are there any distract techniques that you could use?

Also could you maybe ask your partner to keep all related materials locked away?

i sit with him a lot while he works,, i cant really be left alone for more then 10 mins at a time
hes the only one who even realizes that lol
so being around the things is kinda inevitable
but hes been watching me better cents i told him i was eating the things

Well that's defo a positive sign! When you're with him whilst he is working is there anything that you can do to keep yourself occupied? Or do you kinda just watch him?

Doing some kind of drawing or writing or research or reading might be a good idea to keep your mind a bit more occupied?

last time i did wedding planning stuff =] but then it got too hot lol but im trying im just looking for ideas to try to stop eating the bad stuff
