Soup-food or drink?
Basically life's little debates. Because I'm possibly having a cup-a-soup cream of asparagus in a moment.
Do you class soup as a food or a drink?
Basically my two arguments to this...
Food- Starter in restaurants.
Drink- Put into flasks and cups and basically drunk out of.

I'd say it's a food, because it's not a straight liquid.
Then again, some drinks aren't either.
Like tapioca drinks.
Hmm, I'd still say it's a food.

Food.
Now I'll play your ghost as my ace, whenever I'm led astray.
But I am actually good, can't help it if we're tilted.
I'm in my right place, don't be a downer.

Food. It's designed to fill you up and drinks generally don't do that.

I had chicken and sweetcorn. I did it really thin so it was rank at first but I have to correct myself, it tasted okay after a while!
I'll probably have another tomorrow and do it a bit thicker. =)

It occupies the nether-region between food and drink and thus, along with stew and custard, should never ever be ingested.
Yoghurt is excluded from this category for being yummy.

This is what I thought too.
It's years since I had a cup a soup, I like them
If you put scotch broth in a mug though I'd think of it as food. Because of the chunks. Mmm. I've made it sound appealing.

I didn't know there was such a thing.
You'd have to chew it surely.

I think it's a food because it can count as a meal.
For example, if you say "I had soup for lunch."
no problem.
If you say "I had milk for lunch."
That's not really normal...
And most soups you have to chew or move around in your mouth somewhat before swallowing, so you're technically eating it?
Giving up doesn't always mean you're weak.
Sometimes it just means you're strong enough to let go.

Food food food
(but I always buy fresh stuff or make my own, so it tends to be thicker than cup-a-soup or canned stuff)

Food for me. I'm awkward and can't drink it. Needs to have a nice bread roll with it.
