Hey there, sorry you aren't feeling so good and getting on with your new cpn, you can ask to see someone else, it might be worthwhile looking into that. I have BPD, but I've not had DBT, I don't think, but if you wanna post on the BPD thread, you might get a better response from someone who has
Anyhow welcome to RYL and your welcome to pm anytime, good luck xxx

Something has changed within me, something is not the same, I'm through with playing by the rules of someone elses game. Too late for second guessing, too late to go back to sleep, its time to trust my instincts, close my eyes and leap.... Somethings I cannot change, but till I try I'll never know... *** Big hugs to all my friends on here, thanks for your constant support - love you guys

What is it that you find hard about DBT?
What do you struggle most with about living with BPD?
Understanding some more about what's really going on for you can help us help you better.

I did DBT for six months. It was difficult at first to get my head around it but once I'd grasped it it really helped. You should stick with it.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

Welcome =)
I did DBT when I was IP. It was hard work and eventually I quit but I wish I hadn't now, it was really helpful at times.
