Triggering (Sexual Abuse) - Dear Someone, *a poem/letter to my abuser*
Dear Someone,
You cling to me like a leech,
Slowly drinking away my soul...
I've become your entertainment,
Nothing more than a filthy rag doll.
What've I ever done to you
To deserve so many threats?
This is real, I can feel your hands.
They're gripped tightly around my neck.
Why do you continue?
You know perfectly well this is wrong!
Your game is getting old now,
And I've lived with it for too long!
You try to hide behind that clever grin,
But see, I am no fool.
I see your lies in those evil eyes,
Thirsting to be cruel.
You thought I'd be weak and submissive.
Your barbie doll, and your puppet too.
But I've got the strength to get up and leave
And now I can say we are through!
Not yours.
