I'm so tired of being alone

I'm not sure if i've put this in the right forum, sorry if i haven't.

Ok so i need opinions. Is 2 weeks a long time to not see your friends? Cause the last time i saw any of my friends was 2 weeks ago today. Some of them have been on holiday for a week, but what about the others? I invited people to the pub last night, no one said they'd come. I think the next time i could possibly see them is a week, maybe 2. I'm so sick of this, i feel so isolated from them. The only human contact i have is with my husband and uncle (who i live with). oh tell a lie i saw my mum and sister today, my mums in hospital so i had to go visit her. But i don't usually see her for months, and i see one of my sisters maybe once a month, and the other when she wants to come round a make a CD (which isn't often). I'm tired of being alone all the time.

could you find a social club that runs a hobby that you have an interest in?
sometimes friends drift apart for a while to do their own thing and then come back together.
your friends probs dont even realise how you are feeling so speak to them about it and try to arrange a night that all of you can compromise on and have some fun

its awful feeling alone hugs

I know what you mean, I feel very lonely at the moment. I haven't seen my friends for months. As Michelle said, it would be a good idea to try and find out what is going on in your area and see if there are any groups that you can join. It takes time to make new friends but i'm sure that you'd meet some people that you get on with and it would give you some structure and company. Why do you think no one would come to the pub with you? Maybe it's time to make some new friends. I hope you get some social contact soon. I'm here if you want to talk. Take care.

i know how you feel. i feel very isolated at times and my days seem to be the same old routine.
i try to get out with other mothers who i have met on netmums and i am hoping to take a course in dressmaking and a course in jewellery making starting in october. maybe you could do something similar?

I haven't seen my old group of friends since january... They made it pretty clear they didn't really want me around so I didn't bother anymore... Made my relationship at the time easier, and meant that I didn't have to cater to the whims of others

Ever since we broke up for the Summer, I've hardly been in contact with my friends (apart from a select few close friends). So I feel lonely alot of the time, So every day feels like the same old routine over and over again, so I feel fed up and I'm just wasting days because I'm not doing anything productive. It's a horrible feeling.

So I can definately relate!

I dont' see most of my friends for months at a time, but when we do catch up it's like we saw each other yesterday...

But there are other friends who I get sad if I don't see them once a week/fortnight.

The hobby club option is a good idea! Try something like that?

I know how u feel. I live with my hubby and still i can feel so alone. I have no friends.. cant go out socialising either (marriage thing). *hugs u* I find the club/hobby thing to be nice. In my town there are events that always take place for people to join.. its a weekly newspaper. Try and find something in that.. its not nice to feel alone all the time.
