So tomorrow was meant to be the day i get the results for my first Open Uni course which i finished at the end of May. Now i have received an email telling me that due to them falling behind on marking everyones last assignment the results have been delayed indefinitely. They hope to have the results up by September but aren't promising a thing. It has really frustrated me as i need to e enrolled onto my next course by August the 26th but for my next course i need to have my results from my last course or i have to wait a whole year to get on the course again which has really annoyed me. I was using my studies to keep my mind off things but it looks like i am going to have to wait a year because people can't mark things on time :|

That sounds really frustrating. It's good that they want to mark things thoroughly, but difficult if you're already anxious about it or counting on it.
I am going to ring up tomorrow and find out if i can still get on my next course and see if they can fast track it. So we will see hopefully we can come to some sort of compromise on it and i can either apply for my course without it or something else.
a lot of places offer a spot on their course provisionally depending on your results. i know lots of friends enrolled to uni before their a level results were out, they were saying if i get 3 b's i'll go to x and if i get 2b's and a c i'll be going to y, hopefully you can come to some kind of arrangement like that.

have they said if you can sign up before the results? I've always found OU pretty reasonable to students, so as it's their fault I hope they sort it out
They are going to register me to the course while they work out if i can sit the course if my results don't come through in time. So i have to wait on that and wait for all my money stuff to come through to sort out, so it's a case of wait and see i should know soon if i can take the course without the results.
I have just been told my result day should be the 25th the day before i am meant to be enroled on the course which means i should get on as i can agree it all over the phone as they have already sorted out my funding so it's just a case of being put on the course. Lets hope they keep this date now.
