hi my name is matilda. i joined today and i dont know if im doing anything right as i cant use computers very well. im 16 and i have been self harming for nearly 5 years now. I kind of think im beyond help but i think my freinds will calm down a bit if they know im trying to do somthing about it. its a really difficult subject for me to talk about and i kind of surprised myself by joining this website. but anyway id like to hear from some peeps, its nice to know im not the only one. thanks x x x x

don't worry i am just the same, but once you get the hang of this site you can fly round it in no time at all!!

pm means personal message, if you click on someones name there is the option to send a personal message! or if you go to your control panel and then click on send a personal message you can type in someones username and that will get to them as well! i guess it is jsut like an e-mail

never ask me for technical advice i normally ramble and then confuse everyone!

Hi Matilda!
I just wanted to say hi, I joined this week too, and have found everyone here so supportive. There's loads of advice and help out there if you need it.
I surprised myself too by joining, but it has been a positive step for me to take and hopefully you will feel the same.
I hope I can offer help and support as others have done and continue to do for me.
