I have loads of penpals lol, i love getting letters. Im one of those ppl tht sends off letters to random addresses saying i hope you have a nice day XD
I'm sure me and someone else sort of did this on ryl, were we posted addresses in the members forum only (it did get closed as it was posting home addresses!) but people continued by swapping pm's first, I wrote to a gurl from Ireland who liked cats got one reply and then I didn't write back as I don't like cats:P

I think you'd have to be really, really careful about giving details out over the internet - especially addresses, especially when this is posted on a public forum. I'd almost definitely say please don't exchange addresses, worst case scenario someone sees this & joins wanting to get your address. That's unsafe!
Perhaps being an e-mail pal is a good idea instead, to exchange some e-mails with someone? It's safer for now, anyway. Let's face it, you don't know who is behind the computer to just be giving out addresses.
definitely a good point, i was thinking of this earlier but got confused because surely we need to know people's addresses for sending Harley Bear? buT ULTIMATELY IT'S Better to be safe.

I think it'd be a rather interesting idea, however I'd say e-mails unless you know the person. I'm new to RYL but regardless of time I'd feel unsafe giving out my home address. And I'm one of those people who only get e-mail bills and reading club excerpts. :) But the reading club is fun, though.

i used to have a penpal. but i knew her irl too. but she just lived far away (well other side of london.. it seemed much further when i was younger). i still have all her letters.
I remember we had section in RYL V2 about this where ppl exchanged their emails,I don't know about PO box adresses,as far as i remember they shared'm too.

I agree 100% with this,I thought i knew someone and she turned out to be a bitch so be really careful, email sounds a great idea.
