Positive recovery post - 10 years baby!
Well I finally did it! I have been self injury free for 10 years.
This year I celebrated my 40th birthday in February. It's scary to think that bar 4 months I have been self injury free during the whole of my thirties.
As for the other improvements in previous years I smashed them all bar going for a coffee with my friend and swimming. This isn't due to me not wanting to go but due to covid reasons.
I am not going to do any more yearly updates as I think that they have served their purpose and it's time to move on. So bar any significant updates such as posting on Facebook I am not going to be updating this thread.
I am not leaving ryl as I still struggle with other aspects of my mh such as the voices, my bed and my alcoholism and tbh I need the support. Plus I find the r/v useful for putting my thoughts down before I sleep so shall continue updating that.
Thank you so much dear ryl community for your love and support for the years. I really couldn't have done it without you

That's really amazing Dawn. I enjoy reading your updates even if I do not always respond. But congratulations and I hope you do something nice for yourself to celebrate even if you don't always post.

Thanks Camden. I am planning to reward myself by the way of mostly art stuff. I have the stuff chosen but am waiting until next week when I get paid until I buy them. They're in my amazon basket just gotta check out. I am a prime member and all the stuff prime eligible so I can have them any time.

I have posted pictures of my art years ago in the picture board. Lorraine and I share photos of each others art via WhatsApp. I have been doing mainly drawing.
