Oh I think a lot of us are the same. You are kind of sold as a child/teen the illusion that you can do/be anything. Which really isn't very realistic whatsoever!

Exactly! I was watching a show on cbbc once and they asked kids what they were most looking forward to when they grow up.
Answers were like:
Going out when you want
Going to parties and clubs
Getting a house and having a job
Getting a car
I was like, they are going to be very disappointed when they realise that basically no one can afford to buy a house these days, cars are ridiculously expensive to run, there are no jobs and you can't go out to parties because you have bills to pay!
It really does suck!

I have barely started on mine! I only have one present. Trouble is that people haven't said what they want and I suck unless they tell me.
I am going to buy some Christmas cards tomorrow because the last post for Australia is Saturday and I want to post the card to my online buddy. I have another buddy who's in the USA so it makes sense for it to be posted then. She doesn't like cards with Santa on due to religious beliefs and the only cards I have got have Santa on. I would have gone today only for the fact I was waiting for a amazon parcel to be delivered.

Adulting really does suck. But then would you really want to go back to being a child and doing what you're told and having to deal with all the ridiculousness of school and other children? Basically, life sucks :P

Much easier if people have amazon wishlists because I just tell people to get me something from it. Trouble is that mine has things like ariel and toilet roll (I put it there because it's easier to find plus it's cheaper on amazon) so I am hoping that nobody buys me those. Hopefully one of my ebay wins comes soon so I can say that I have 2 presents.

I was badly bullied from age 7 to 17 so I wouldn't like to be a kid again because I was so unhappy. Even though I am now ill I am generally been happier in the past 10 years than in any previous years.
