I gave this 4 stars.

Also did a hate-read of Curious Incident of the Dog In The Nighttime by Mark Haddon and gave it 2 stars.

Currently reading:
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman (expected to be a hate-read)

Currently listening to:
Billy's Story by Louise Allen

I read the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time for my English course, I also hated it. So overrated! I’m glad I’m not the only one :)

Currently reading Someone Else’s Shoes by JoJo Moyes and liking it so far!

Why is that? How are you finding it so far?

It's also a pretty decent film.

It was recommended for my theme of "such bad autistic rep that the author denies it was about autism". So far I just find it very silly!

Finished Billy’s Story- 3 stars. Getting a bit cynical about Louise Allen!

Now listening to: What Lies Buried - Kerry Daynes, which I think was recommended by Lindsay.

Yeah, Louise Allen's stories are way out there.

I have read that book but I think you just were interested in it rather than me recommending it. Hope it's not a hate read!

Haha, not a hate-read :P I'm enjoying it so far, especially as she seems to have toned down the excessive similies after the first little bit which was going to lose her a star!

Finished Oliphant but withholding final judgement until I have consulted with an expert.

finished house on the cerulean sea. idk meh. loved the found family aspect and the magic/fantasy elements. but there was just a lot off about it. even without the controversy stuff which we looked up after finishing. and can definitely see it too. looks like the sequel comes out soon so we might read it out of curiosity.

honestly no. not worth the controversy read just because it's not that good even when you don't know the controversy lol.

yea i dont get why a little life is so popular! still havent gotten it to read when we've not been reading something else.

we also just finished air by monica roe. enjoyed it. shame there were no queer characters or i'd say to add it to your rainbow library, jenna.
