That is very strange! Hope you like it.
I have no idea when i’ll get round to reading that book, i have such a huge to read list.
Started reading a novella to try and get my focus back - When I Awake - Dani Atkins.
I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Have you ever tried reading YA fiction Lindsay? I find them so easy to read and could be helpful for focus?

Also I got a goodreads email about this and thought it looked very interesting! Alas, I’m on the edge of a rabbit hole of another specific genre to read in a short space of time so other reading may have to wait!

I think i have read some YA fiction. Do you have any recommendations? What book are you quoting in your second post?

whoops, sorry I forgot the title won't be there when I quote! It was What Lies Buried.
So I've only read two and they were both in my stint of reading books about body acceptance for my workshop and I loved them both. If I were to choose one, I'd go for Toxic by Natasha Devon. My next project is reading a bunch of YA novels for my Pride group so will have a bunch of queer recommendations soon!

Do you ever get to just choose a book without a reason for reading it?! The author of What Lies Buried has also written another similar book.

Sometimes! But I'm so incredibly hyped for the queer YA books, it won't be a chore at all.
I spotted that Jacqueline Wilson has written a sequel to Sleepovers and downloaded that to listen to - have you read the original? She's written this sequel 20+ years later, set just after the original, as if that's reasonable :P

Just finished this! Fives stars but I think I might be a bit more generous with my stars than Lindsay :P
Now listening to Jamie by L.D.Lapinski. Also have it on the pile to physically read but will get through them faster if I listen to some of them too, especially because I listen at x2.2 speed...

You are definitely more generous with your stars! I rarely give anything 5 stars. Plus I feel weird giving foster carer memoirs high stars because of the content.
