Dead limbs or a lot of pins and needles.

I don't know why but I get a lot of dead feet or dead hands or pins and needles in certain limbs and it starts as soon as I don't move for a very short period of time. I don't know if it could be medication related? Or what do I do to prevent t from happening?

Thanks.

When did you last have a medication change/increase? I'd talk to your prescriber or pharmacist about it to get an idea if it could be medication related.

Also, are you eating and drinking enough?

If it continues a Drs visit might be appropriate, as it could indicated problems with the blood flow or nerves.

Speaking to a pharmacist the next time you collect your medication would be a good idea, as they can tell you whether or not it's a side effect of medication and signpost you towards your GP if necessary.

I get this. I've kinda ignored it. I'm a smoker so i figured it was related to that. My legs used to go numB if I didn't stand up on my bike occasionally when riding. If i sit with my legs crossed ( comfy for my hips) sometimes my leg gets numB and I dont notice until I've rolled my ankle or had it give out on me. Maybe I should get it checked.i have no idea how to phrase it though.

Ask your gp
You may need bloods.
Sounds like a cirulation issue x

Not by any means a permanent solution as others have said doctor is the best bet but in the mean time I find (although I have a diagnosed condition) I have similar symptoms to yours and yoga/tai chi exercises seem to help with overall circulation and reduce the symptoms. Just a suggestion :)
