Amy/Aimee/Snow White/Aimee in Wonderland
I wasn't sure whether to make this post or if it was up to me to do it. But very very sadly the lovely Amy passed away on the 7th March. Her brother updated her Instagram page this morning.

I saw it on your insta but I didn't realise it was that Aimee :(
How very sad. She was such a lovely person. I hope she's at peace now
|
I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!
Who else is fine?!?!?

She seemed like a wonderful person and of course she did so much for this community over the years. This is very sad, I hope she has found some peace.

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

I just saw on Facebook because someone else was tagged in the message.
It was pretty clear that Aimee struggled a lot the last years. Though her visits to the site were sporadic. I don't know how she died and I don't really want to know. When I think of her, I think of the funny, compassionate and kind person she was. I don't want to think of her being in so much pain and feeling hopelessly lost.
I hope she has found her peace now. The world seems a bit darker just now. She was one of those I didn't think we'd ever lose, because she was so strong in the face of pain. This is really, ****ing heartbreaking

Thank you for posting. I struggled with whether I should too, as I haven't been active on here in such a long time. It feels like another life. But almost 20 years ago Aimee and I were so close and I loved her and she was a light in the world.

Oh no! How awful. She was a constant here and such a bright light and all-round lovely supportive human. Another brilliant person gone. Poor Aimee. That's got to me, actually. Sending love to all.
Edited to add: Oof, I just realised that the last PM I have on here was literally from Aimee. Such a lovely person.

Ohh, this is heartbreaking news. Aimee was one of those people that just radiated compassion and kindness, and I’ll never forget the impact she had on my life. Devastating news, but thank you for sharing as I wasn’t linked to any of her social media accounts, only a reconnection via email. I truly hope she is at peace now, and will forever think of her ❤️*
Rest in peace, Aimee.

does anyone have an obituary or death notice that can be shared privately? i've tried searching and not found one. am not on social media to have seen the posts. just would feel a lot better to have something officially confirming.

Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.
You can't always keep it separate.
