A persons name - someone I met at the gym group who I'm glad to have in my life.

When one of the chemist staff said I was one of her favourite customers.

I can't remember the other thing, if there is one. I didn't actually look at them yesterday and can't in this moment because I have a cat on my lap.

Pretty sure "cat in lap" is a thing that could be added!

Could be! But it happens a lot and has become routine. It's not the kind of thing I'd put in my jar unless something extra was happening at the same time.

Does it only have to be big things to be added? Acknowledging little things can be important too, but of course it is your jar so your choice.

It's kind of hard to explain what I feel should go in the jar. I'll probably put something about my cat in it now that you've suggested it.

Oh no, please don't feel like you have to explain! It's your jar so you do what feels right for you. You don't need to justify it.

That's ok. I just like to share how I go about it if people don't know where to start but I understand that we're all different.

I've already thought of putting toast with melting olive spread in my jar (written, not actual toast!) which may seem silly but I'm a bit obsessed with it at the moment. Can't put it in the jar yet because I've still to take last years out and make a scrapbook page.

That sounds like a great addition to the jar! It's not often I have a huge positive to report, it's more just little things like that that keep the positivity ticking along :)
