Hey guys been up since I woke up from the Surgry cause I'm in so much pain. Unbearable. Will know in a few days if the surgery went well and successful m tgdbk you support
They're saying it's very unlikely that they'd amputate the foot now because the skin graft was a success and everytime they put the ultrasound thing on it makes a healthy beating noise which all the nurses and doctors comment on by brilliant, lovely, fantastic.
I'm assuming I'm somewhat out of the woods but not quite.
It's been three weeks the incident happened
Three weeks of wailing in pain and surgeries
And drs and some silly nurses, and pain relief and pain relief and pain relief and catheters and bedpans
I am sorry things are so hard, it's understandable that you're having a shitty time.
It probably feels like forever now, but things will get better with time.
Thank you Lana,
Huge life changes are going to happen when I get better and are happening now. I just would rather I get better like tomorrow instead of months but that's not being realistic and patient.
Everyone says I've got this, most of the time I feel that's bullshit but I'm still here doing everything I can to get better so maybe I have got it.
imposter syndrome is a bitch. it sounds like you're doing the best you can and that is something to be super proud of. it is good news the surgery went okay! do you know if there's going to be more surgeries, or can you focus on getting better and what ever comes next?
maybe they can help you set some shorter term goals to work towards so you are not so focused on the months/long term?
Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.
You can't always keep it separate.
This is happening, this is part of you.
Can't imagine what life is like for you right now, but as I said, you are in my thoughts. I hope the pain begins to ease soon and there are fewer silly nurses.

Sending you lots of love! Be gentle to yourself but celebrate the wins like your foot xox
