Ive just bought a few raffle tickets from my local tattoo place.
The prize is a half day sitting with the artist of your choice so fingers crossed!
Its being drawn at this festival thing.
One of the characters in town passed away, he was a very well loved fixture in town.
I was in hospital with him a few years ago.
We all used to call him Jesus.
So yeah, a festival has been arranged and all proceeds are going to Mind.
I think thats quite a cool thing to do!
Thanks Luna!
Yep, September.
Its in a different town this time.
A smaller town so don't know if that's gonna be easier or harder!!
Whats everyone up to?
I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!
Oh wow, that's really cool. We had a 'Jesus' and he would give you money if you told him it was your birthday. All my friends would do it but I didn't because it didn't feel right. He died of cancer which was really sad but we still have the Wizard man!
Fingers crossed you win the raffle, the prize sounds awesome!!

I eventually want a sleeve on my other arm to cover my scars as well Luna, thinking of a phoenix as the flames might kind of go with the indentations/risen scars, plus phoenix, hope, Harry Potter, what can go wrong there? :P
I think the festival sounds like a fab idea of rememberance and fun, hope you win the raffle! I'm sure you'll pass next time, as said by Luna this one was out of your control.

I have had a productive day so far. I went to my parents house yesterday and I had to drag two wheelie bins to the top of their drive. Been as it's a big house with a big garden it wasn't a easy feat. I had to put the wheelie bins back today.
Then I caught the bus from their house to town, walked to the shopping centre the far end of town and got a meal deal from m & s. Waited nearly half an hour for a bus to take me to the bus station. Got to the bus station and walked to cafe Nero. Met my friend for coffee and then walked back to the bus station. Caught the bus home and walked from the bus stop to home. Fortunately my neighbour had put my recycling box on the doormat otherwise I would have had to go outside to get it. Whilst I was in town met another neighbour so had a brief chat with her. Now I am in my flat having a rest.
