I think it also important to mention that this also applies to non cheese items such as carrots for example.

I also enjoy the irony of a bunch of vegans conducting this research lol

I think I am going to try a couple of new soups soon. I have been getting sick of two of the ones I make regularly, and the new one I just tried did not work out. :(
I have recipes picked out but they will need modified as I apparently dislike all the main soup ingredients. Oops.
My mother thinks it is weird that I am still eating soup in the summer. I do not see why that would be weird. Soup is so simple to make and make vegan. Is liking soup wrong? Thoughts?

I've never heard suggestion that soup is only for the winter! If you like it then crack on, isn't your mum pretty silly anyway?

I don't like soup in general but I don't think it's more offensive in summer.
I live with someone who thinks savory pies are for cold weather only but I will eat them whenever anyway.

My mother does tend to be pretty ridiculous. Thanks both. :)

Pleased to report that the black bean vegetable soup turned out to be a success, much to my surprise! The combination of spices seemed really odd.
Mixed review of the wild rice vegetable soup. Needs some tweaks. But assuming both freeze well would make again.
Also made broccoli and pumpkin soups earlier this week so our freezer will be fully stocked for at least 6 weeks or so.
Soup!
