Oh sorry you're bored Beckie. I like Lindsay's suggestions. I appear to have no more of my own :( I know you've posted in your RV about not knowing many local people - have you ever been on meetup? You're so bubbly and fun, I'm sure you'd do just grand at such a thing!

Also hi Lindsay, although I'm already talking/harassing you on another thread :P

Thanks for the suggestions!
I shall make a list!

I do have some games on my phone
I don't have any rooms to tidy.
Could go for another walk, but walks with no purpose tend to irritate me!

I do not know what meetup is!
Thank you for saying I'm bubbly and fun!
I don't feel like I'm being very fun lately with the whole #depression shiz.
I will have a look anyway!

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Pretty rude to brag about not having any rooms to tidy :P

Meetup is like RYL meets for normos I guess? There's stuff based on interests and you go to meets and hang out. I was in a book group from meetup for a while and also a games club. Significantly less fun that RYL meets though.

Haha! Soz :p
I've been having random massive clear outs lately and there is nothing in the house left to tidy/get rid of!

I downloaded the app and there are a few bits around! Not that close though seeing as i live in a very small town!

Oh that sounds wonderful. Unfortunately I'm a bit of a hoarder. K's study is literally an immaculate work of art, meanwhile mine is just an explosion of everything I've ever owned (but what if I neeeeeed it sometime???)

Oops, sorry, I forgot about you being in a small town. It's so hard making friends as an adult :(

I wouldn't be able to deal with that!
I have an old tv and printer that need to be taken to the tip (when i have money to get someone to do it) and having them in the house is stressing me out! Even though they are hidden away and not taking up any space!

It is hard. My work were doing a 'coffee and chat' group think for customers once a month (but we just referred to it as 'lonely people's club') i think its stopped for now though. But there must be other stuff going on! Just a shame I'm so socially awkward at my classes!

Oh yeah, I thought you don't like walks without a purpose. I hope you can make a list that suits you then. There might be something you could do in between other things, like a walk but something that suits you.

There are other places like MeetUp although unhelpfully I can't remember the names.

Instead of tidying you could focus on your bedroom or other room and paint it and add little things if you can get them cheaply and have the money. It would be nice to have a pleasant place to go inside if you need some stress relief. You found the sensory room in hospital a good place to be didn't you? Or if that's too much do you have a safe box already that you can update or make a new one if that might be nice?

I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.

Thanks for all the suggestions lindsay!

I can't paint any different colours but my living room could do with a fresh coat. Though i have no idea about getting the right colour paint! And actually painting!

I do not have a safe box. I don't know why but it's always seemed like something i wouldn't find helpful. There's no real reason for that because you don't know if something will be helpful or not unless you try it!

I have showered and shaved my legs. Gonna wear a skirt to work tomorrow so i needed to!
But now my Internet is being stupid. Just as i was getting into a new series on amazon prime!

EDIT: Internet is back. I fixed it with my vast technological knowledge! (I turned it off and on again)

In my prayer group we catch up on each other's news, do any admin, read some of a Carmelite book together and pray Evening Prayer to finish.

What if you need the printer one day in seven years time though

Also I don't know about exercise classes but I've found my hobbies to be quite difficult to be social in - choirs/orchestras/dance classes don't really afford much time for chatting, you just do the thing and then go home with no more friends than you started with? The best place I found was volunteering with rainbows/guides. When I moved up North those were the first friends I made and for a few years they were pretty close friends.

The printer has been broken for years!
I don't even have the leads for it anymore.
And ink is super expensive so on the very rare occasion i do need to print something, i do it at the library for 10p!

Loads of people talk to each other before/after classes. But i think they've been going forever.
I did once try joining st johns ambulance but because i am a criminal, i was not allowed.

Hmm, I guess that's a good reason :P

Ugh, hard to infiltrate such groups! I might ask my mum if she has made friends at her classes.

Oh gosh, I'd never even though about the implications of having a criminal record for things like SJA :(

Hi Pi and insig, how are you?

I'm a bit discombobulated because my blood test is half an hour later than I thought.

I am ok thanks tamobhuuta. I am wondering what to do with myself as there's naff all on the telly today. Unless you like repeats.

I am waiting for an amazon parcel containing hangers so I can't leave the flat.
