I am currently:
Feel like bingeing

I had a psych appointment with a new psych and he told me to get more active physically yesterday. I also had my depot at the cmht and my cpn weighed me. Although my cpn didn't tell me my weight, at my request both things are really screwing me up. I am struggling not to binge because each time I get weighed I feel like doing so.

Idk what i want other than to get it out there
Do you think that it's a good idea to try and get in contact with my cpn? I don't see what she can do however as I have never talked to a professional when I feel like binge eating.

I don't know much about EDs so forgive me if you think I have no right to reply. What have you done before when you have been triggered? Has it always lead to bingeing? I don't see the harm in contacting your CPN, she is there for when you need some support. She could have some ideas that you haven't thought of. I hope you can get through this ok and the feeling passes soon.

It's ok not to know Lindsay. Yes I nearly always binge which is why I always refuse to get weighed. My current cpn is the only one that I have allowed to weigh me.

I forgot until Tesco reminded me that I have an order coming this afternoon. More temptation which the thought is stressing me out.

I will phone my cpn this afternoon. Or at least try as I know that they have a clinic today at the cmht which she often runs, so might not get through to her.

I chickened out of phoning my cpn. So far I haven't ate sh*t tons of my tesco shopping order - just my normal amount. However I am struggling so I wish I had phoned her.

I'm sorry you didn't manage to phone and now you have some food around which is making things even harder to manage. Well done with how you're doing so far. Do you think you can carry on with eating sensibly? I'm guessing it's hard to stop thinking about it and those thoughts can be overwhelming. Does anything distract you? Do you think you will be able to phone your CPN tomorrow if you need to?

I woke up with the urge to binge so had the courage to phone my cpn. She wasnt very helpful and I still feel like bingeing. I am going to get my happy box out and see if that helps. Though it's a bit of an double edge sword as there's sweets in there.

I'm sorry your CPN wasn't helpful. Do you know what she could have said/done that might have been helpful? How has your day been so far?

Sorry been out. I am not sure what my cpn could have done. But looking back several hours later the fact that she listened and tried her best was helpful.

I have been distracting myself most of the afternoon. It has helped because I have yet to binge. My eating is normal for me so far.

I'm glad looking back you realise you felt listened to at least. Keep going, you're doing great. If you keep managing to resist the urges will they pass eventually?
