Now listening to A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara; not expecting to finish it or enjoy it but want to at least give it a bit of a hate read!
Have yet to review this but I think it might get 3 or 4 stars. I did not hate it as expected and have a LOT OF THOUGHTS. Now listening to The Midnight Lie by Marie Rutkoski, don't remember why but it was on my goodreads 'want to read' list.
Gave this 2 stars (it was ok) but I didn't finish it. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought it. I thought it would be good because one of my old penpals who has autism and loves books read it and gave it 5 stars. After the personal stories there was some info from a 'professional' and it felt like she was undermining the value of personal experience. Also the women were all really successful with work and relationships etc and it didn't take into account that some people struggle with those things.
I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.
Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.
I have finished it and gave it 4 stars. It was ok not worth 5 stars though but slightly better than 3 stars.

I gave this 2 stars (it was ok). A lot of the stories seemed far fetched. The events were based in America and Australia I think so maybe it was the author being dramatic as American things tend to be or maybe American ghosts continue to be dramatic as they were in life!

And I also have a joint audibook on the go with K which will take ages to get through as they prefer listening at normal speed! It's All Her Fault by Andrea Mara.
We finished this recently, hurrah! I gave it 3 stars. We're now listening to Willow's Story by Louise Allen.
Yep that’s the one! Very dramatic and prone to rambling tangents about her views on social care, society and sometimes even the queer community!
I’ve read a few of hers.

Gave A Little Life 3 stars in the end and a very long review!
The Midnight Lie got 3 stars which is impressive considering I don't like fantasy. Am even considering reading the next in the series.
Forgot I was going to listen to some Amanda Prowse and instead listened to The Quality of Silence by Rosamund Lupton which I gave 2 stars and am now listening to Her Majesty's Royal Coven by Juno Dawson, another book that I don't remember why it ended up on the to to read list.
