It was a bit of a kerfuffle to open this as it first made me put my birthday then took me to a home page but when I clicked the link again, it worked and was worth it!

I don't even like tea or coffee and when I make hot chocolate I heat the milk in the microwave, yet I still feel like I agree with you on this one!

I almost reported my post because nobody bothered to tell me how funny it was. Crisis averted.

THRILLING UPDATE
I mentioned my plans for a big old trip to the dump and T piped up that she would like to accompany me and I said she could provided that she made an mpg as we drove around. So Camden, you will finally get your instructional mpg!

I explained that the need for the mpg came about from a debate about dump vs tip and T did pipe up that it was called the tip, but you can’t win ‘em all I guess :(

I may need to see this instructional mpg as well because I have stuff to get rid of, but I have never been before and much like the car wash, it is a big scary Unknown... =/

I am very late to the party but the poll was still open so I voted! I call it the tip, but I had to design one for a uni project (civil engineering is that cool) and for that had to call it a household waste and recycling centre.

Not a real one. Just an assignment to plan one out including traffic flow etc.

Lol didn't go on a field trip to a centre to get tips. Did look at some aerial photos though. If I still had my presentation I would totally send it to you but my hardrive with my uni work on got corrupted (luckily several years after I graduated!). I might have some notes somewhere though.

I did go on a field trip to the following exciting places a water treatment plant, a ceramic tile factory, several different types of dam and their associated reservoirs, a tour of the bridges in the city I went to uni, the jaguar factory and a Tesco distribution centre.

Exciting update! I found the Facebook group we uploaded our work to as it was a group project! I can't access files right now as they won't work on my phone but I may be able to review avaliable Info to add to instructional MPEG.

Also, update. For complicated reasons this trip is now taking place tomorrow. If you have any questions relating to visiting the dump, please post them here or contact me directly and we will attempt to address them in the mpg

oh man, I'm not even going and I feel anxious just thinking about it!!

What happens when you enter the site? Does someone stop to ask you what you're dumping/tipping? How do you know where to go? What if you miss the place you need to go to - do you need to go round again? What if you don't know what category your stuff falls into? Is it busy?

*faint*
