Chapter 240 "Hey Chris!" Mikey shouted as he walked through the shelves filled with books, Mikey found his manager and walked over.
"Yeah Mikey?" smiled Chris looking up from the books he was checking in.
"Do we still have that vacancy available?" asked Mikey looking hopeful at his boss.
"Yeah why?" asked Chris raising his eyebrows slightly
"Well you see my brother is looking for a job and –"
"No" His manager interrupted him, Mikey looked like a fish out of water with the way his mouth was hanging open.
"What do you mean no? Won’t you give him a chance?" asked Mikey finally finding some words to come out with.
"Mikey look, Gerards a nice guy and everything, but has hardly any qualifications, he dropped out of high school and well isn’t that reliable" Chris sighed checking another book into the computer system.
"Chris, he has changed, he wants a job so badly, please just give him a chance?" Mikey said looking his manager straight in the eye.
Chris sighed and placed the book he was holding on the desk. "Fine Mikey, I’ll give him one chance, if he blows it that that’s it, he starts money" said Chris sternly walking into the back room before turning round again to face the younger boy "I mean it Mikey, one chance and that’s it" and with that Chris turned around and headed into the back room and into the managers office.
Mikey sighed and walked over to the bookshelf, he was happy he had just got his brother a job but he sure as well hoped Gerard took it seriously and not screw up.
Mikey shook his head. Gerard wouldn’t screw it up, he had Frank and Jaidon now, plus he wanted the band to do well and he needed the money for that right. Mikey laughed at his own thoughts, of course Gerard wasn’t going to screw it up, what was he thinking.
Mikey smiled to himself and started sorting out the books on the shelves in front of him. He pulled a one of the books out and examined it. His let his eyes skim over the blurb on the back before he turned the book around, his gaze falling on the title of the book. Ecstasy: Three tales of a Chemical Romance. Chemical Romance? Thought Mikey, placing the book back on the shelf it came from. That was kind of catchy. I’ll remember that thought Mikey sorting out the rest of the books. It would make a good band name He thought to himself before walking back over to the counter and smiled as he served a customer.
"I’m really happy this band this is coming together" said Frankie in Gerards chest. They were currently cuddled up together on the sofa watching some old movie, neither of them could be bothered to change the channel, or even find the remote for that matter.
"Me too" smiled Gerard kissing the top of his fiancée’s head.
Frank smiled and cuddled closer but looking up into the hazel eyes belonging to the man he loved.
"Have you written any more songs?" Asked Frank, still looking into those hazel eyes.
"Yep" Nodded Gerard smiling
"Can I see them?" asked Frank looking hopefully, but his smiled faded when he saw Gerard shake his head.
"Nope, not until they are done – it would ruin it" he said with a small smile.
Frank pouted and went back to watching the movie.
"I don’t love you any more" mumbled Frank
Gerard giggled and rolled his eyes "Yes you do"
"Nope" said Frank shaking his head "I don’t"
Gerard laughed again rolling his eyes "Yes you do"
Frank shook his head against Gerards chest "Don’t"
"Fine then" Gerard smiled evilly "No more sex…. Or kisses!"
Franks head shot up and looked at his fiancée straight in the eyes "That’s just mean!"
"So do you love me then?"
"Nope" Frank shook his head, Gerard was about to open his mouth to say something else but Frank stopped his placing a finger to Gerards pink lips. "I don’t love you, because love is an understatement"
Gerards lips curled into a smile as he pulled the smaller man closer to him closing the distance between their lips.
"In that case Mr Iero, I don’t love you either"
Frank smiled and kissed his fiancée again.

Chapter 241
Gerard spent a good two hours the next morning getting ready. He hated Mikey right now for the fact he’d rang him late last night to tell him he’d got to be in work for 9 the next morning. He looked over at the snoring pile of pillows on Franks side of the bed and frowned,
“Oi! If I have to be up now then so do you.”]
“Noo it’s too early.”
“Frank’s it’s nearly half 8. Jaidon will be crying for you soon anyway.”
“That’s soon not now.”
Frank pulled the covers further over his head, this was no longer open for discussion and within a few seconds, Gerard heard the soft snoring start again,
“FRANK!”
“GERARD! SHUT THE **** UP!”
Gerard turned in disbelief at the outburst from his fiancée, only to be hit in the face with a flying pillow as he turned around. He picked up the pillow and through it back on the bed, smirking slightly as he heard the crying from the next room. Frank threw the covers off his face and glared at Gerard,
“That was your fault. He never wakes up before half eight.”
“Frank, it’s probably about a minute til half 8. And anyway, you shouted louder.”
“Did not.”
“Did too.”
“Why don’t you go and see to him anyway. You’re up.”
“I have to go to work, anyway you’re up now too.”
“That’s not fair.”
“You could’ve gone to work instead but you were all ‘Nooo I wanna look after Jaidon’”
Frank glared at him before pushing past to go and see to their son. Gerard sighed, he didn’t really want to be away from them all day but they really needed the money, especially if they wanted the band to work out. He quickly checked himself over in the mirror before going to say goodbye. He wandered into their sons room and wrapped his arms around Franks waist from behind before kissing his neck gently. Frank tried his best to try and stay annoyed but it was obvious he was enjoying the attention,
“I don’t really wanna leave you all day y’know.”
“I know Gee, but we need the money.”
“I’ll miss you.”
“I’ll miss you too. Here say bye to Jaidon.”
Gerard took his son from Franks arms and cuddled him tightly,
“Awwww I’ll miss you aswell.”
He grinned, kissing the baby’s head gently and looking at him for a minute. He was about to hand him back when Jaidon decided to sneeze all over him.
“Ewww! Frank it’s not funny.”
Frank took the baby from Gerards arms, still shaking with laughter as he watched Gerard get a towel and clean himself off. Gerard through the towel in the laundry basket before turning back to Frank and kissing him gently,
“I’ll see you later. Love you.”
“I love you too Gee.”
He practically ran all the way to work so he wouldn’t be late, cursing to himself as his side started to hurt halfway there. He really needed to stop smoking, either that or just not go near Jaidon at all before leaving for work. He got there a little after Mikey and followed him inside. Mikey introduced him to Chris. Gerard stared at the man before him and took an immediate disliking to him. He didn’t know why, he just did but he wasn’t about to let something as silly as that screw this up for him. He shook the mans hand before following Mikey out of the small office.
“So, what do I have to do then?”
“You’re in music.”
Mikey pointed in the direction and Gerard wandered off before starting to sort through the music on the shelves. It was really annoying how people never put things back in the right place when they’d finished looking at it. He laughed quietly as he realised he was just as bad for doing it. He glanced over his shoulder and saw Chris watching him. Gerard frowned and turned back to his current task. He knew everyone would be waiting for him to screw up somewhere. He always did, whether it be relationships or jobs but he definitely wasn’t going to mess things up this time. He had family know and he’d do anything for them. He’d prove everyone wrong, he’d show them all.
