I was a member of ruinyourlife mostly hung around the chat room and lurked. Am still in contact with one person from back then.
RYL has definately come along way thanks to Harley James and all the other site admin and mods.

I lurked about (I had another ID before this) on Ruin, then a couple of weeks later, they changed it to Recover.

I lurked on ruin...I think I posted once, but I don't remember. I was 11.
Then I forgot about it for a year, looked for it again, and found recover.

Also, the one thing I do miss is the section I most frequently looked at on ruin, the pictures. They were interesting to me, not triggering. That was ruin, right? My memory sucks (popsicles).

I remember coming across ruin but never even looked at it, I didn't even connect the two before I found this thread thanks for shedding light, have been on recover now though from the begging but mainly just lurking in the background I'm actually quite active now !

I was a member of ruin way back when. I don't remember how active I was... I'm not sure if that was one of the periods where I actually posted or not. I really need to stop going into lurkerdom/disappearing.

I'm pretty sure my screenname was LostAnDelirious back then though (although I would highly doubt anybody remember me. Actually I might die of shock). =P

I loved Ruin.
I only used to lurk, but I felt you could actually say what you wanted without fear of being shot down by anyone.

Here I find everything to be a lot more pc and like, we're trying to be sheltered from the real world where things are kinda **** most of the time.

I dunno.
I'm not going into it again because
a. it makes it look like i dislike this site.
b. you've all heard me say it once twice three times over.
