Great minds Fi, I've been trying to make that point since I found out about them.

No I discovered them a couple of years ago when I was trying to decide what dog breed to get :)
I chose a Cocker Spaniel in the end in case you're interested.

Yes well with the critter in your avatar and a name like "ferretmonster" I might bet your surrounded by some interesting creatures already.

Yeah I can't find wild hedgehogs where I live, a chipmunk maybe, but hedgehogs are cooler.

Don't you think the lucky wild creatures that avoided our sometimes worrying logic in the case of the poor Yorkipoos should be left to their own devises?
I don't think mixing breeds is bad for the dogs themselves - my sister has a maltipoo (maltese + poodle), and he's like the cheerfullest dog ever. Although he's still having trouble figuring out which leg to lift when (sometimes it's the front one, and sometimes it's when he poops), but I don't think that has much to do with his breed.

But as unfortunate names go, it gets a lot worse than yorkipoo. If you cross a shitzu with a poodle you get a shitpoo.

Hm... apparently it's actually spelled shih-poo, cause the other one is spelled shih-tzu, but it always sounds like there's a 't' in it, and it's in Urban Dictionary as shitpoo... But at any rate, they're actually quite cute:

And while I'm posting pictures of cute cross-bred puppies, here's my sister's malted poodle:
