looking for scars

I know that when somebody wears long sleeves and jackets in 98 degree weather, that they're either dying or a self injurer. More likely the latter. And I'm the only one who notices.

I know my friends are some of the only people who don't criticize me for wearing long pants while riding bikes and such because they know why. It's a relief to not have to explain myself to people. So I'd say it's a curse for the people who notice and a blessing for those who are usually the victims of comments such as, "Why are you wearing a jacket in this heat?!"

I do this almost automatically when meeting new people, or when seeing people who I know used to/still do SI. I wish I wasn't so obsessed, cause I don't even realise I do it most of the time,so people must think I'm rude if I don't realise I'm staring at them.
