I tried to read The Quality of Silence a while ago and gave up but planned to try again. So it's not worth it?
I put it down on paper and then the ghost does not ache so much.
Don't try to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass.

Nah, not in my opinion. The exploration of deafness and communication is good but the story is silly and intangible.
No other sadness in the world would do

I finished listening to Anna Karenina by Tolstoy. It was great but tragic.

I gave this five stars and declared my love for queer fantasy.
Then I listened to A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman and gave it 5 stars because it was outstanding.
Then I listened to Some Like It Cold by Elle McNicoll and gave it four stars.
And now I'm listening to The Kindest Lie by Nancy Johnson.
In paper form I read Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, which was recommended by my future brother-in-law who is Dead Intellectual and I gave it 3 stars and think I didn't understand it properly because Too Intellectual.
Now reading Gay Club! by Simon James Green.

Gave this 2 stars and was pretty pissed at Louise Allen but we're now listening to Max and Mia's story which is so far less rage-inducing.
Should probably update this more than once a month so I'm not doing mammoth posts.
