I started Silent Hill 3 the other day, only to have it crash on me last night at the same place repeatedly. In the very very slight hope that it's just my Playstation being a bitch, I'll try it on my sister's later, which barely works at all but still, I hope.
On the subject of Final Fantasy VIII I have played it to absolute death. I'm pretty sure I did all the side quests, except for the triple triad cards. I missed one, Laguna, since you only have the one chance to get it, and try as I might I could never win it off the Queen of cards.
/Pointless rant about how Final Fantasy VIII broke my will to live.

Final Fantasy VI is one of my favourite games, though I think I like the GBA version to any of the others. I played through it a few times on an emulator, but about a year ago I managed to find a PS1 copy. It's still a great game of course, but the load times on the PS1 version are bloody unbearable.
15 achievements away from getting all the allachievements in L4D2, but I'll never be able to get 3, so I'll just settle with getting the other 12. :3

I have no idea how many times I've played through Final Fantasy 8, lots. 7 9 and 10 for that matter. I'm currently half way through Final Fantasy 6.
I don't know what it is but I've never managed to complete Final Fantasy VI. I know so many people argue it's the best in the series and it was actually the first final fantasy I owned but I've just never been able to get that into it.
I got Super Mario Galaxy the other day. I'm not a massive fan of the 3D Mario games and they usually bore me fairly quickly but I'm quite enjoying this.

Lana (Alpha Bitch) and I played Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Tekken 5 earlier. Lana is now the Tekken 5 Ultimate Grand Champion, having won an intense best-of-fifteen war, beating me eight wins to seven.

I've been playing a little Need For Speed: Most Wanted, which is pretty good, and also a little Lego Batman 2 multiplayer with Lana. It's okay, but the splitscreen is kind of weird and not very well done.
I just finished replaying Metro 2033. I played it on ranger difficulty (rather fun even though a bullet or two can kill you it only takes a couple of bullets to kill the enemy too!) and to get the secret ending, though i preferred the non-secret ending. I wont say why though. Brilliant game.

How did you find the dodgy Russian accents?
I've started playing Trine 2 again, brilliant (and beautiful) little game. Play it in co-op and you completely break all the puzzles, but still enjoyable.
