Depends on the circumstances and what i'm making. For example when i made my ex-girlfriend a amv for her valentines day present i put soo much effort into it it became a chore rather than a pleasure. Alternatively when i did pottery I didn't put as much energy or care into them (they were still "excellent" apparently) but i enjoyed i a lot more.
