- Went shopping in an actual SHOP that was OUTSiDE, which was not ONLINE for the first time in three years and it was my beloved Aldi, oh how I missed it and the reduced section.

- lovely brother drove me and I didn’t use my WHEELCHAIR.

Monday 2nd:
- successfully avoided most of my colleagues for most of the first day back so did not become overwhelmed by their existence
- evaded a pointless all staff email block and sent an all staff email and included a picture of a lemur
- brought my own food so didn’t have to navigate the ‘is this vegan’ chaos that my workplace enjoys creating for me
- talking to Finn
- started badminton lessons ready for the gay olympics


Tuesday 3rd:
- successfully avoided the various birds that thought they should be entirely nonplussed by a car driving up to them
- another vegan brought cake and said I could have some and also my workplace decided to not be terrible so I got vegan snacks from there too!

Wednesday 4th:
- hopefully avoided my pride club being cancelled by the Srs Bsns Grown Ups
- maintaining a positive attitude when work did not go well

Thursday 5th:
- day going better than the previous one!
- some excellent young people calling out the government’s nonsense

Friday 6th:
- progress at work
- getting a free haircut using child’s scissors standing in T’s bath :P

Saturday 7th:
- unnerving quantity of sleep
- painkillers sorting the old period pains out

Sunday 8th:
- talking to Lio
- working out how to solve all the problems in the UK
- being productive!

Monday 9th:
- bonus hot chocolate
- timely emotional support after someone suggested a fantastically terrible route from where I live to Bournemouth

Tuesday 10th:
- Lio reminding me that the world will probably have ended by the time the terrible route to Bournemouth is due to occur anyway
- nailing an overhang route that I thought was too tricky for me at bouldering

Wednesday 11th:
- sent what I deem to be an amusing report to IT when my computer was misbehaving
- small wins
- receiving splendid fudge in the post (thanks Lio!!)

Thursday 12th:
- ludicrous levels of silly gossip with colleagues
- enjoying volunteering

Friday 13th:
- good day at the old workplace
- T forgetting my friggin’ birthday for the second year in a row: I’m enjoying the build-up of excitement for when she realises :P
- lovely meal with family
- kind and thoughtful gifts

Yesterday:
- not missing the wedding we were attending despite falling asleep and failing to alight the train in the right place
- the cheese toastie stall having a vegan option
