Only one but….

Giving myself time to take in the constructive feedback about something and learn from it, instead of immediately jumping to the conclusion that I should quit doing the thing because the feedback means I am rubbish at doing the thing.

- getting good reviews for my cupcakes (thanks to Finn for on the spot from memory reciting their recipe for me!)
- colleague actively wanting me to tell them all about politics
- chatting srs bsns politics with people at a union meeting

Yesterday:
- T and I successfully changing windscreen wipers on K's car without needing to Pay A Man
- watching politics

Thursday:
- being mainly productive until my colleague started talking about politics and then I just sat around chatting
- randomly measuring stuff with a trundle wheel and being disruptive
- Papa John's
- fun banter with the company making me election cupcake toppers!

Friday:
- young people trusting me to advocate them
- helping a colleague who was very sad
- seeing my parents
- really good chat with my mum
- watching Northern Irish Politics

Saturday:
- many naps
- real life democracy
- getting to tell a transphobic candidate that I didn't "need some random man to tell me what a woman is"

Sunday:
- talking to Finn AND Lio! What a treat!
- enjoying my trombone lessons

Since Saturday

- Managing to go on holiday and having a lovely time so far.
- Visiting a beach
- Eating delicious chips
- Playing lots of board games
- Naps
- Eating delicious pasty and sausage roll at farm shop cafe.

1st July
- a small win at work that made a big difference for a vulnerable yp
- at least when I got sent the wrong election cupcake toppers it was green rather than like, reform or sth

2nd July
- easy day at work
- hot chocolate and watching politics, what an evening
- me and Lana remembering that Lio was at guides and not panicking that she was dead like we normally do

3rd July
- trolling a colleague with a pack of blank playing cards :P
- being proud of someone who it's often hard to be proud of

4th July
- Lio arrived!
- stupendous vegan cuisine with stupendous company
- seeing Unfortunate
- staying up late to watch politics

5th July
- continuing to watch politics until it was time to go to work, bar a little period of dozing
- somehow staying awake at work
- Papa John's!

6th July
- making a new friend
- outstanding cookies
- seeing Sofie Hagen

7th July
a sombre day as Lio went home again :(
- but Sofie Hagen unblocked me on twitter
- and I had a good nap
- Lio making a sensational mpg about water

8th July
- wearing a new dress that I love
- feeling lots better from my epic cold

9th July
- making neat little fidget toys
- doing the right thing even when it was rather uncomfortable

10th July
- blasting out what is normally a massive annual job in just a few hours (time pressure is helpful!)
- made 'butter' 'chicken' and had even more missing ingredients after obvs substituting butter and chicken but it tasted fine???

11th July
- excellent vegan cuisine at school (for once!)
- filling in an important public consultation (and learning stuff at the same time!)

12th July
- nice evening out with my parents and the in-laws (lol, I sound so old)
- being an excellent toilet reviewer as usual

13th July
- chinchilla being adorable
- having fun trying out my new badge maker!

14th July
- talking to Lio
- finally buying jeans and shorts so I can wear my fun tshirts

Monday
- having a difficult meeting but at least it's done and I can move on
- making an excellent selection of prizes for my Pride club

Tuesday
- nice chats with colleagues
- making an excellent mini colouring book

Wednesday
- silliness on twitter
- orchid drama creating silliness in the work groupchat
- making a poll about the orchid
- much needed little nap

Thursday
- colleague getting me a really thoughtful gift, acknowledging some work I did
- making an amazing placard for trans pride
- bragging about the placard quite a lot

Friday
- Watching David Attenbourgh
- last day of work for a while
- seeing my parents

Saturday
- Pride going well
- meeting a Famous Person o_O
- getting interviewed for the radio and actually not sounding like a complete fool

Today
- so much sleep
- talking to Finn
- talking to a politics person about getting more involved in my political party
- making a New Friend (not the politics guy)

Monday:
- making *helpful* suggestions to Lio for her appointment
- Brunch with the gang (the most neurotypical activity in my social portfolio)
- finally did a bunch of boring-ass training for work that I've been avoiding

Yesterday:
- good chats about books
- getting lots of my to-do list done, including some boring-ass training for volunteering
- good banter in the scoop shop with K and the employee

- very productive day of admin, even cleaning out the chinchilla room which I have avoided for far too long
- remembering a good fact about Ramsay MacDonald
- writing an outstanding review of a terrible book
- playing Dominion even though I lost :(

- making a chart about holy communion because Finn asked me a question and I went down a research spiral
- going to a Political Activity and not having a terrible time
- winning a pleasant smelling candle in a raffle I did not enter

Friday:
- getting rid of some crap that I've been carting around in my car
- seeing my mum
- embarking on a wood-based product
- T lending me her saw without questioning why I needed a saw

Saturday:
- getting to be a Good Ally at trans pride
- the feeling of pure bliss when I got to sit down after a long day on the march
- nice chats
- Leon rice box

Sunday:
- talking to Lio
- lots of sleep
- good trombone lesson
- remembering to go water T's snake in time!
- the snake viv not being broken as I feared
- not getting arrested for effectively breaking into T's house in the dark late in the evening
- also not getting murdered by any other burglars out and about at that time

Monday:
- good day out at the vet with the chinchilla
- getting stuff done
- making enchiladas

- surviving an unintentional ice cold shower
- the answer to ‘who left a tissue in their pocket then put the item in the laundry?’ was NOT me and I felt so frickin’ smug
- animals eating ice lollies
- the education secretary emailing me (maybe not personally?) to give me a pay raise
- reply to the education secretary with thanks and some of my own concerns
- accidental TV marathon with K
- excellent cookies from T as a thank you for looking after her snake

Not so good: getting trolled by T’s snake

Today:
- clean house
- laptop fixed
- hanging out in Costa with K
- getting an excellent jpg of myself

- getting lots of little jobs done
- telling the man in the wood shop that the kind of wood I needed was "like, wood-y wood?"
- finishing my Top Secret Wood-Based Project
- the baguettes I was making not turning out as horrible as they seemed like they would
- bonding with Lana over our shared conviction that Lio might be dead
- Lio not being dead
- Finn sending a chain of hilarious post reports for me to process

- switching to a more ethical audiobook provider and as such feeling like a Good Person
- my slightly stroppy review of paper being accepted onto the actual trustpilot website
- remember I needed to go take care of T's snake just in time to have time to do it :P
- meeting someone who works in a field I might like to work in and got to find out lots of information

- trip to blood donation centre not being a complete waste of time as despite being zapped for low iron, I did get one of the employees on board with an important political cause
- finding a bridge and taking a selfie

Monday:
- returning to the bridge to improve the quality of the jpg for Lana's enjoyment
- nice evening with my parents
