There are moments in my life where I just wonder why?

Then I realise this is why I am still alive

'Dancing with Dementia' Christine Bryden. It's about her own struggle to live positively in spite of having dementia and the advocacy work she's done to change attitudes. It's very good, I would recommend it.

"I know you're sad, so I won't tell you to have a good day. Instead, I advise you to simply have a day.
Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don't give up on yourself just yet.
It'll get better. Until then, have a day."

You made up your mind to torture mine!
If you read a scar like a book, you will relise the story in which you over look
red ribbons were weaving
upon the young girls skin.
a trail of red weaved deep,
caused by pain from within

I just started "a memory of light" by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson, it's the final book in the wheel of time series.

It's Kind of a Funny Story. It's such an amazing book about mental health (depression, anxiety, ED) and the guy who wrote it (Ned Vizzini) states how it was 85% true.

If people of RYL haven't read it, please do. It's amazing. :)

I've both read it and seen the film (and own both) and yes they are both really good, I recommend them also!

I'm reading about 9 books atm lol, but when I log off here I'm planning to read more of Not Without My Sister for a while. It's a true story about a cult, I'm not far into it but it's already so creepy. Its unbelievable (and frankly plain scary) how one person can hold so much power and influence over so many others.
