Hey guys :)

I'm new here.. so hi!

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

I love that! I've never heard that said like that before. I know what you're saying and totally relate. Its hard to find the words I'm looking for though!

It is good that we find in the Bible that Job, David and others raged at God. He's big enough to take it, and in Psalm 139 He knows our thoughts anyway - but doesn't love us any less for it.

By the way, I come from West Kent.

@un_forgetting... Wow, you completely summed up how I'm feeling right now. Thank you for posting. Believe me, you're not alone, not at all.

I'm brand new to this site, and this thread. I'm so glad to have found it. It's so good to know that there are others who really do understand and Christian to boot!

My name's Felicia. I've been a Christian since November 2008. I've been an SIer for 12 years. I'm currently like 4 days away from my month free mark though =)

thanks! it's been hard but I'm hoping it gets easier.

I'm afraid to go to rehearsal tonight. It's almost time to put on the play and I'm so scared that I'll mess up badly and get triggered... gah. I just want to stay in my room all day.

avoidance isn't really the best tactic. better i think to do the thing you're dreading and have a plan of how to cope for worst case scenarios.

Since nobody had posted for a few days, I thought someone should. I've been really struggling for the past week or so. The urges are getting stronger because of current circumstances. I could use some back up to help me get through this. I'm about a week away from being 3 months free. Felicia, great job on your fresh start. I'm praying for you.

Well done for staying SI-free for so long! I'm sorry circumstances are making it hard at present and pray that you will be able to stay free.

I'm staying free, but am struggling so much with physical pain. At least in the day I can put my TENS on, but I can't have it on when I'm asleep.

Yesterday I came back from the digital imaging course to have a week at Hythe. Missing my rats! When I get back I will be going to collect three more - more intros ahead!

asc: Thanks so much for your support! I'm so sorry you're in so much pain! I just said a prayer for you.

tamobhuuta: I'm trying everything that I know. Something happened yesterday that made things even worse. The things that usually help aren't. I'm really trying, but... I appreciate your prayers!
