Have you told your doctor/therapist/CPN/whatever about this? Because I worry about you.

I know this sounds selfish, but if you died I would be heartbroken.

I really care about you.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

Hi.im sorry.Again i didnt mean to upset you.But i feel bad saying those words when im still overdosing cos i know it means im still failing everyone here anyway regardless of whether i had wished to upset them.

i saw my CPN last week.i told her all that i could. She knows my situation.i think this is very little they can do for me.

im so selfish.i cant stop od'ing.i went out today. To a different town.To get tablets.Thats how desperate and selfish i am.i spent my day getting tablets.Loads more of them.To take.

im bad.

im a waste of your time too.

i do not always manage to be around but i wish you all the very best - love and luck to you all!

i will sit here tonight taking them.

i know in the end i will.

But it doesnt matter. They are no different to what i od on everyday.

Why should it matter?It shouldnt.

i just know i'll give in and do it in the end again.

i always do.

Its not really even a fight. Not now.Not anymore.

Too little energy for that, too little will.

i just feel in so much pain.

And that im so bad.

It doesnt matter.

Shouldnt even be posting.

im sorry.

Ooo er! The screen just did funny thing to me.

Kath sweetheart, Im so sorry things are this crap for you right now. If you can, take those pills and get rid of them. Nothing you are feeling now is worth taking them for, because your feelings now are only temporary and they can be changed. You are not a bad person and you can get through this bad patch.

It seems to be that your sleep ( or lack there of) is causing you a lot of problems and needs addressing to help you to move towards a more positive sleeping pattern. Can you try gradually normalising your sleep pattern? Forcing yourself to go to bed an hour earlier each night and then to stay awake during the day? Routines often aid sleep and I have quite a few things Ive picked up which Im quite happy to share if you need them!

Please try and take care of yourself and stay strong. You deserve so much more than what you have now.

Love Rebecca xx

Thank you Becky so much.i really mean it.ive been feeling so alone and so bad and it means a lot someone just being there.Thank you.So much.

My sleep has not been good and my CPN did say the other day that she was a bit concerned about it as it means i am more high risk if i am not sleeping properly apparently.

And i kind of understand this.Though my sleep hasnt been good for quite a while.

But is a lot worse right now.

It needs looking at and i am trying but i am really struggling to stay alive right now [as dramatic as that sounds] and that means things like this are sometimes getting overlooked by me though i know they shouldnt.

i/we arent sure if my problems with sleeping are just down to my sleep pattern or are down to what im overdosing on daily too.

im not sure and i barely remember anything anymore.

As for the tablets Becky i overdose everyday. If i dont take them today.....i would only end up taking them or some others tomoro.

And i just want all of this to be over as soon as possible now.

Things cant continue like this.

How i am feeling has been with me a long time now but it just always seems to get stronger and more intense.

Even when i think it cant get any worse.

Is there any way you could gradually work towards reducing the medications you are overdosing on? For example, set yourself a target of throwing a way one extra pill/day.

Do you know what it is that is making you feel like you need to overdose? I understand an overwhelming sense of pain, but do you know where that pain is coming from? It seems to me that if you can tackle the root cause of the pain then you would feel less need to overdose.

Do you have any methods of distraction when you want to take tablets? The RYL distraction section on here contains a number of annyoyingly engrossing, addictive and entertaining games. I sometimes find attempting a cross word, or sudoku or some basic sums. Sometimes actually going out of the place where the pills are-for example going for a walk althugh not so practical at midnight! Calling a friend for a chat or going into a room with other people.

At the end of the day, the only thing overdosing is going to do is store up a whole load of health problems for you so that you feel physically rubbish as well as mentally rubbish.

What would have to change in your life for you not to feel like this? Perhaps that is a question you could start to think about, then maybe it would give you a starting block. Also I really think you should go see your doctor and just get a few physical checks done, like blood tests just to keep an eye on the impact of your actions on your body. It may also make them sit up and question whether you are getting enough of the right kind of support, given the fact that you are doing this.

Much love
Beckyxxx
