The quiz was mediocre. I got 6 out of 10, which is quite crap tbh. I will study really hard this reading week but I feel like I am naturally rubbish at learning biochemistry.

I have emailed the biochemistry lecturer twice now but she hasn't responsed. I am sure I have the right email address.

I used to have a really good study skills tutor but he retired.

My friend is trying to find me a biochemistry tutor, but the last one ripped me off big time and I had to terminate the sessions.

Are there certain aspects of biochemistry you find more challenging or is it the subject in general?

I find this particular topic in biochemistry difficult: Molecular Biology. I find Protein Structure interesting but that is later.

It is a pass, yes. I just have this concept stuck in my head that I have to get high marks in everything. But tbh this concept is decreasing as biochemistry (especially Molecular Biology) is very dull.

Next academic year will be better though. I believe there is a module on the Central Nervous System.

Oooh, the central nervous system is so interesting!

It's so difficult to do perfectly in subjects which are difficult and dull. Loads of people have subjects which they struggle more with. It doesn't mean they're not intelligent.

I'm glad to hear the concept of having to get high marks in everything is decreasing, it sounds like that was putting a lot of pressure on you. We all have academic strengths and things we're less interested in. As long as we pass those we can focus on the more interesting things. Well done on passing the test!
