I am currently:

Part of my SI is hiding the objects, and while I could never completely get rid of everything, even after during my SI-free year or so, getting rid of the majority of it was helpful. But I think that if you're going to hurt yourself, you're going to hurt yourself, it just makes it easier if you have the objects in front of you.

I think there's a point you'll reach where you're enough in control to be safe around blades, but until then it's totally a risk. Very interesting question.

I don't think getting rid of all of my blades would be practical. What would I shave my face with? Cut mats for art projects?
