- did quite a few things around the house in the last two days
- productive psych appointment when I totally didn't expect to get anything out of it
- finally got a new prescription for my meds
- ran into a work friend on my way home and we chatted for over an hour :)
- my boyfriend and I met up with a coworker to see the new Star Wars
- SEEING THE NEW STAR WARS AND IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD
- coworker came to ours after the movie & it was great just hanging out with him after he has been off sick for a few weeks
- made a reasonably enjoyable and sensible dinner
- coworker introduced us to a new show
- I don't have to get up early tomorrow

Zoomed around on my bike and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Have a super tidy flat. Even vacuumed instead of just putting the carpet sweeper round.
Snuggles with the cat.
Found an excellent song which I've been listening to on repeat all day.
Took myself out for lunch, which was very delicious.
Sat on a bench in the drizzle and watched the sea, which made me feel all lovely inside.

When I put my car park ticket in the machine it said 1 hour 59 minutes so I was sooooo close to having to pay nearly double for going over 2 hours *victory dances*

Last few days:

- saw my cousin who I haven't seen in almost three years, it was great to get to catch up and realize we still have a connection
- sleeping alright ish for a few days and getting up earlier than usually
- getting our wedding rings (still no date, but whatever)
- progress on paperwork
- seeing Solo for the second time and still loving it :P
- got to start work four hours later than planned on Sunday due to ridiculous heat

- finally managing to find a parking space in Not Nottingham
- catching up on some life admin
- finding a new quiz show we like
- getting the record for the week in an escape room

Today:

- didn't oversleep for work despite a stupid early start
- early start was to attend a staff meeting thingy, so I technically had a Saturday off to make up for that :D
- pasta salad
- managed to raise an issue with my work wife and it was totally fine and didn't turn into a Big Deal
- in fact, we chatted for over an hour after the meeting thingy ended and it was nice
- found a relatively cheap copy of the video game my boyfriend wanted but didn't get because PS4 games are stupid expensive when they are new
- had ice cream. twice.
- watched the latest episode of Mock the Week as it is finally back

^Did you enjoy the new episode of Mock the Week? Even though it featured James Acaster it wasn't my favourite, though I can't remember very well so maybe I ought to watch it again :P

I feel like even a not so great episode of Mock the Week is better than no Mock the Week :P

Today:

- turns out I can actually be helpful irl, even though I feel slightly insulted that someone said I was "surprisingly straightforward and constructive" :P
- covering part of a shift made me finally leave the bed/the house and do *something*
- exercised for the first time in almost a year & apparently infected my boyfriend :P
-started watching Designated Survivor, and while it's trashier than expected it's still rather addictive

Today:

- seeing a picture from my sister's scan, whatever she's breeding already looks like an actual human !!!
- spent quite a bit of money, but only on stuff that I/we genuinely need
- cleaned the bathroom & did some general tidying
- made some spinach and egg wraps for dinner and they were rather good :)
- potentially close to breaking the world record for how fast anyone manages to go through an entire season of Designated Survivor :P

Yesterday

- cleaned my flat which made me feel better and proud that I did it
- got to 7 years SI free
- had a present for my cats from my neighbour after giving her dog some treats which was totally unexpected and thoughtful
- had a good alcohol free lager which was very nice and I didn't miss the alcohol

- good breakfast

I feel like it went seriously downhill after Season 7 no? Because after watching Season 6 I'm just like oh the writing used to be so much better.

Yesterday:

- my brother did a huge drinks & food shop with us :)
- tasty booze on offer in LIDL
- hanging out with my brother, chatting about all things serious, amusing and trivial
- 10/10 banter in the family WhatsApp group
- watching Fellowship of the Ring :D

Today:

- *so* close to getting 18/18 on my quiz app
- sleeping in, getting up in time to kick Conor out of bed for his appointment, watching an episode of IT Crowd and going back to sleep :P
- flat is mostly clean and tidy ish, did the food shop & dishes yesterday, laundry isn't all that urgent, so I can legit just chill most of today :)
- Star Trek & Designated Survivor
- C's appointment was productive, doctor noticed some patterns re blood sugar and they came up with a strategy to counteract that :)
- gonna look for a few books to put on my ebook reader
