I've been to 'upstate' NY..and the city and long island. I went to skaneateles (SP?) to the finger lakes...and syricaus. Though I was 7 when I went 'upstate' and went to Long island in 07 and this summer.

I always thought Long Island was a suburb of NYC. I am completely wrong?

I've always quite fancied visiting upstate NY, mainly because NYC doesn't hold much interest for me. I prefer nature and stuffs.
