- The teacher I work with gave me a hug when I came back to work
- Enjoyed working with the students. They always make me smile

Yesterday:
- a small child hid behind a door and jumped out to scare me and gleefully announced that this had been A Grand And Daring Stunt planned by the whole class which I found hilarious
- good day at work
- got two compliments on my new pinafore, which is equivalent to about six in my old workplace since I NEVER get compliments on my pinafores here!
- volunteering with the very mini-humans went so well that I'm now going to do it regularly
- bought good snacks

Today:
- made some progress with a difficult thing at work
- someone at work was nice
- have worn my scaffold three days in a row at work without getting told off :P
- Good nap
- parents turned out to be alive and well despite strong* evidence to the contrary

(*dad didn't reply to a text, so maybe not particularly strong evidence...)

Yesterday:
- didn't fall over on the ice
- thanked my week ago self for having the excellent plan of pre-emptively purchasing a scrapey thing for the car
- made some students laugh
- found out a student had been incredibly kind about me
- a trip to wilko turned into popping in to see my mum and having a good chat and then going for dinner with my dad
- did still go to wilko and got what I needed and also got some Christmas tree decorations, though I did forget to actually buy a Christmas tree...
- early night and lots of sleep

- went to the cinema by myself to watch Fantastic Beasts. I didn't do much reading about it before I went to see it so it was like getting lost in the magical world again. I liked it a lot.
- Spending time with myself was fun
- Starting to feel better with my cold
- Bella converted a non-rat lover to a rat lover in about 30 seconds. It was awesome.

- S and I were jigsaw masters
- got promoted to rep in brass band because everyone was off and apparently I was managing 3rd cornet well (no bloody clue what rep means, but it seems to be two place above where I was!)
- caught up on Casualty and FINALLY SOMETHING NICE ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN IT FOR ONCE PRAISE THE LORD
- regretted nothing about how emotionally involved I am in Casualty
- four years, four months free.
- celebratory pizza

Today:
- successfully directed a colleague in a clandestine mission to fix the photocopier (we're not supposed to try to fix it but there was no time to wait for back up!)
- yummy leftovers
- really helpful phone chat with S
- JeLana green goat mischief
- adopted a We Do Not Negotiate With Terrorists policy with my bastard tumble drier and put the clothes on the radiators instead

- Extra strong coffee is yum and I'm drinking it in a snowman mug.
- J is coming over tonight
- I've pretty much got the job for sundays. I have to interview but C said she'd pick me.
- The rats are being cute and I taught Bella to come when called. SHe's so smart.
- I have a million candles burning, fairy lights and oil burning. It's so cosy in my house. I love it.
