thecoldone I feel the same thing. The cold one I care about you I want you to know I have been down a similar road with meds like you. I was forced on meds told I was unstable with out them. Have been told Im bipolro and need meds. Have been told I cant live a normal life with out them which really hurts. Coldone my point is FIGHT FIGHT for yourself Do not stop until you win. Im serious I have fought and fought for myself it has not been easy but you can do it. You know yourself better than they do coldone do NOT let them walk all over you stand up for yourself. Im officaly off meds and loving it I know I dont need them but it has not been a easy road. I have been forced and pushed on meds. Im finally free. My new psych may still make me take meds but I just tell him no and dont take it. He doesnt push them as much as the other ones did.

In my opinion yes your a jerk , do you realise the majority of people suffering mh problems desperately need help and what use are spouting just causes doubt , your not medically trained in my opinion to come on this site saying professionally taught psychiatrists are just handing out meds on guesswork .some of the stuff your saying is dangerous . People i think are on this forum looking for help and all you and your friend are ding is causing doubt. If your just putting doubt and fear into peoples thoughts by your rants what good are you doing ? What do you want everyone to give up on their treatment and just sit in there own houses with their fears and hoping that just their thoughts will make them better?

Guys, name-calling isn't really helpful.

TheColdOne, how are things going for you at the moment, with your medication reduction?

It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go.
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do.
We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us.
We're definitely going to hell,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

You need to take responsibility for your own actions.

In purely my opinion if i have objections to my treatment i tell my doctor and the people who are supposed to be helping me . Your telling me that your not allowed to ancel your treatment yet you are allowed to spew your own views how medication and psychiatry is all pure guesswork.

Are you in hospital now? Whenever i have been admitted for some reason i could never get online for every hour of the day and put my views vehemently across to the world that because treatment never worked for me then as a consequence its all witch craft. The trouble i had getting a signal to make phonecalls never mind be online for hours a day makes me dubious about so much thats put across on this forum. Then thats my own opinion perhaps i was just unlucky .

So because the treatment prescribed for you in your opinion does not or is not helping you you say psychiatry and medication is to be mostly seen as not helpful to everyone.

What do you suggest ? Stop taking medication and advice and just hope that someone online comes along with some groundbreaking advice who you dont know and trust that just might have the correct ways of going forward.

Arent you suffering mental health problems? Maybe i just summised by your thoughts and typing that i thought you were if not how can you put across an opinion that medication or therapy or just talking to a proffessional medical health worker is all a load of hocus pocus and guesswork. Or their all in it to make money never mind the likes of me and others who dont know why their thinking what they are thinking.

This may sound harsh but do you honestly think you can recover from all them difficulties problems without proffessional help ? How can anyone randomly off the net give you better advice over someone trained to help people with mh issues.

Perhaps we should all just stop taking meds and advice and just deal with it whatever the consequences , it might work better and what harm could it do.
