Still having the odd giggle about #tictacgate
Bought tic-tacs
Had a decent shift at work
Painting for the first time in months, and it feels gooooooood.
Listening to my 'I'm a rampant lesbo' playlist whilst painting.
May be seeing Jenna soon!
Realising that I can still be creative, even on a very basic level, and that's something I can build on and find Marie again.
Trying super hard to communicate like a functioning human being.

Hair look amazing and has made me feel amazing.
Hogwarts checky shirt nighty is the best thing ever.
Loved my outfit today.
Hairdressers were as nice as ever.
Didnt freak out when I woke up later than planned.
Adulted and called the drs.
Neogtiated covering a shift so that it was a half day instead of a full one which is better for me when normally Id not do this.
Nice candles.

- dyed my hair

- re-did the rats cage and cleaned it out. Got them loads of new toys and treats and set up lots of hanging things for them to play with and sleep on... and of course they're asleep inside a cardboard box. Typical.

- Had a junk food day comprising of noodles and chips with gravy

- hair is straight

- rats got a bath but now I'm scratched to bits.

- have wine

- New sofa arrived and is comfy

- continued giggles about #tictacgate and created a fantastic 'tacs advertising slogan
- might be seeing Marie soon!
- went on a walk and jpg-ed a glorious view
- my local NISA sells my favourite poptarts at a reasonable price
- currys finally managed to coordinate putting my kitchen appliances onto a lorry and ringing the doorbell of my house, which is apparently more difficult than you might imagine
- fridge wasn't ready to do refrigerating yet so I had to get a takeaway, what a shame.
- luckily I have discovered that I have eight radiators so it wasn't the end of the world when my washer-dryer's final offer was "marginally less soaking than they were two hours ago"

Excellent to hear about the beautiful jpeg, Jenna!

- cleaned the oven (my favourite job!)(sarcasm).
- D has had his holiday approved so we will actually be going. Phew.
- started a new blog to document an 'improving self-esteem' challenge.
- GBBO is starting soon.
- did my first ever supermarket delivery order. Fingers crossed it turns up tomorrow.

- Found out I live near the 'longest zebra slide in the North East' (it's at a local soft play) and the thought of there being multiple zebra slides in the North East amuses me
- Managed to get a GP appointment and he gave me mirtazapine which is what I was asking for =D
- The pharmacy I went to to get the mirtazapine boasts that it is the area's 'first midnight pharmacy', but luckily I went during the day, as the opening hours right next to that sign shows that it is not open at midnight on any day, which also amused me
- Did a food shop
- Made plans to go on an Ikea excursion
- Cooked chilli and it was yum
- Arranged to view some pianos that are for sale on gumtree (yes, I'm genuinely prioritising getting a piano over getting chairs for my kitchen table!)
- got in touch with an excellent chap that I knew when I used to live here and turns out he's still in the area so hopefully we might be able to meet up at some point.

Had a good shift at work with S2.
Nice chat with current housemate A before bed.
I'm exhausted but it's that really lovely 'feeling really peaceful and mellow' kind of tired.
Managed to catch the buses on time which meant I only had a 1km walk home rather than a 6km walk.

Yesterday:
- saw Marie
- visited an abbey and we were amused by some of the attractions which even as non-religious folk, we considered to be slightly inappropriate!
- drove somewhere I didn't know and managed some tricky roads
- cooked yummy enchiladas

A work colleague picked me up this morning near my house so I only had to walk 7-8 minutes instead of almost an hour, meaning I got an extra 40 minutes in bed.
Finally remembered to get the shortbread I like from Tesco (and therefore my dinner tonight :P)
Had a really lovely, if exhausting, weekend at work where I feel I've started bonding with someone I fear I may have been misjudging.
First rest day in weeks tomorrow.
Super excited for Pride at the weekend - I've not been to a big pride for a really long time and I'm really looking forward to it.
Hopefully will feel up to painting for a bit today but if not, then I will enjoy mooching on the sofa.
There's a woman on my bus who looks like Mary Berry.

Yesterday:
- went to try out a piano that's available very cheaply so I'm going to buy it :)
- listening to my dad's running commentary about his superior intellect as he tried to install my TV aerial (e.g. 'Who needs professionals when you have such a gifted father'). Turns out he couldn't do it, but his confidence and enthusiasm were exemplary.
- was undefeated by Italian cuisine disastras and made a rather tasty pizza

Today:
- managed to get up early and was awake enough to drive (Jenna: 1, Mirtazapine: 0)
- absolutely wonderful day hanging out with friends :)
- created great drama over iced hot chocolates
- lived up to my award for Most Annoying Phrases by helping create another annoying phrase
- caught my train home, though it was touch and go for a while!

Yesterday:
-Nice shift at work even if I didn't get off early.
-Someone brought an amazing dog into work that's been in before.
-Got chatted up and asked for my number at work in the most hilarious way and the banter put me in a dead good mood.
-Saw my flatmate on a night out and got to talk to her a bit (haven't seen much of her yet)
-Free birthday cake and sandwiches left over from the buffet.
-Free whiskey because I have boss friends.
-Got in and flatmate was up with friends and sat and drank wine with them for a few hours.
-Friend told me about his MH issues and was asking a lot how i was and reassuring me that talking is good.

Today:
-Day off and I slept in until the afternoon!
-Found hilarious photos of me and M on my phone from last night that I'd forgot we'd taken.
-Snapchat filters.
-Went for a spontaneous meal, calamari, Korean pulled pork buns as starters, then fish and chips and brewdog punk ipa on draught, heavenly.
-Went to a pub I love to see the weekly live band after and it was so much fun.
-Random lad we were sat near asked to dance with me and then pulled J up too and hilarity ensued.
-Said band played an amazing cover of Little Wing, my favourite Jimi Hendrix song.
-Missed the last bus by SECONDS (it was two minutes early!) but actually saw it on the way home in an uber and so beat the bus, noice.
-Was bought a fantastic bottle of malbec and equally nice pinot noir.
-Had A Bit Of A Chat about my mental health with certain friends and it was insightful and beneficial.

- had a wonderful day with friends yesterday and managed even when the man was scaring me,
- J is being really caring at the moment
- Got new pillows for my bed
- Excited to show L my flat when she comes down next week
- Got rat cuddles today and they were very sweet to me
- Talking with Lillie always makes me feel better no matter what mood I@m in.
- Found diet ginger beer again at poundstretcher - yum
- Had a big old tub of watermelon for lunch

- spent the day chilling with an injured bat, I named him Draco and he was the coolest and cutest thing ever.
- After being checked over by the RSPCA Man, Draco was released at dusk and after a bit of help, he flew off to find his bat friends.
- Developed an incredible fondness for bats.
- Finished my painting (not bat related) and spoke to M.

TODAY
- Woke at 9 thinking it was 12 so got to get the extra hours in.
- Things went a bit to **** but I addressed it and talked and then brought it up again when I didn't think it was resolved, albeit a bit moodily, but definitely a good thing.
-Nice shift at work!
-Chicken salad sarnie, salmon and prawn sushi and munchies chocolates for my break at work.
-Was bought surprise pizza.
-Watched Lion King with great company.
-Finally text my landlord about wheelie-bin-gate and made a house group chat only to relay this info which already has about 30 messages! Imagine I'm going to be the house mother being a few years older than all of them.
-Went to the gardens on my break at work to take some photos of the sunset with the gorgeous backdrop of buildings across from my work and although I didn't quite get them how I wanted (messed with my camera settings forever!), it reminded me to appreciate the moment as well as to keep improving my photography hobby.
-Heard about a great job opportunity which I doubt I'll get but may well apply for anyway!
