I went to work today and around half way through my knee gave way, meaning I feel over. They called medical over and medical said that I needed to go to the hospital before sending me home. When I came back, I told my dad about it and he started having a go at me, saying how he has no sympathy for me because I couldn't be bothered to find a "nice admin job" rather than one where I have to walk around and that if I wanted to go the hospital, I'd need to take the bus. There are no buses going to the hospital after 5 and I'm in so much pain
No offence. but your dad sounds like a ****.
Tell him that it was your choice what job you took and you took one that you liked and suited you not him.
But it is not your fault that your knee gave way today and if he had any modicum of love for you at all then he would take you to the hospital and get you checked out.
And if that doesn't work tell him it'll be his fault if you can't work and lose your job because you're too injured and in too much pain.
I'm sorry you're hurting love. I hope you get some help.

I took the job because there were no others. Admin jobs require so much experience that it's ridiculous. I tried my hardest and it's never good enough. I give up. I'm done with everything.
Oh, and now he's said he might take me tomorrow. Such a great parent...
Gabz *cuddles* that sounds awful! In this economic climate a job is a job, and it is your choice what you want to do. You really should ask him to take you to the hospital, because it does sound like it might be fairly serious. Or is there anyone near you who could take you instead? <3
Tell him you were lucky to find the job you have. If he wants you to have an admin job so much he can find one for you.
but it'll be his fault if you lose this one because you can't work. He should get you to the hospital now, not in the morning.
