I planted a flower once for a school project we were given them to look after for a week, mine promptly died while my other classmates flowers flourished lol.

I haven't planted anything since then as I have hayfever and a fear of insects, but I do enjoy looking at flowers :)

My mother's favourite flowers are dead people flowers.
Valentines day always looks like the aftermath of a funeral in our house because father buys them for her.

I don't see the point in flowers, but I do like venus fly traps.

Is this thread even about flowers anymore?

^My mother always loved daffodils. When my grandma died, on her grave grew several daffodils - still don't know who planted them. Several weeks after my mother was buried with her (several years apart), a two-headed daffodil grew on the grave. Part of me has always thought it was the two of them :)

I've ninja planted tulips around some of the trees at both my new and old apartment complexes - around the trees. They've grown at the old place, but I don't know if they'll get a chance to sprout.

I ninja planted crocuses at a friend's grave as well. They've done quite well.
