Ooo Rose.
Nah, I don't think it's Rose, the last time we saw Rose she was ridiculously depressed, and in her own body. Plus she's in a parallel world not the future, hm. I just had a thought, I went to watch the Rest of series trailer and if it WAS Rose then Donna would be wearing the same clothes when says "Rose is coming back, isn't that good?" or something, and she's not.
I also had a thought, lots and lots of poele here have been saying Jack is in this series and that's the only source I've had on this news, if he was in this series, wouldn't he be in the trailer?
Yeah, I've heard rumours all about the place of Jack coming back for this series, and yet he wasn't in the rest of the series trailer. I do hope he comes back, but so far it's not looking too promising. Perhaps that's part of the surprise, though.
I really hope she isn't Jack, actually. I can't pin point why right now, I just hope she isn't Jack, in whatever way they could make that possible.
Oh I just watched that video on Youtube of someone who was there for the filming of the finale and has loads of pictures of it, Jack's in some of them :D

I can't remember but im sure he did, it wouldnt be too unlike jack to have once been a woman. Who knows, and aww goshi dont want donna to go, i actually quite like her.

i thought it might be someone from the classic series, but for that to work the only doctor that was that old was will hartnell, and i'm pretty sure they wouldn't bring back someone from that far. if it was susan i'd probably explode it would be that awesome, she was theoretically his granddaughter, but i really really doubt it. she certainly wouldn't be calling him pretty boy or whatever.
what really confused me is that she kept saying she hadn't met him yet, and he looked young. and she knows donna but has never seen her. i think this points towards jack because for the suspense to be any good it would have to be a returning character. but there's still this thing that they haven't met yet, and even in the mangled time lines the doctor first met jack during WW2, so no matter which way you look at it they've already met.
hmmmm. if its that girl who dreams about the library or some new character it'll be pretty disappointing.

I liked that episode. I really hope donna isn't dead, she's so funny and her and the doctor just work so well.
I don't think that woman is Jack, when she was going through that book i'm sure she said something about a picnic and i just can't imagine the doctor and Jack having a picnic. I'd say it is either his daughter or a new character.
Profesor Riversong is definately not Jack, I mean it'd be absurd if she was.
Firstly I think the Doctor would have noticed if she was Jack but a women, and they seem to have some sort of special relationship (in his personal future because he gave her a sonic screwdiver) and I dont think the Doctor would ever be that way with Jack. Also Jack may seem to 'go all lovey' or whatever when he talks about the Doctor but I think Jack just has so much respect and admiration for him because he knows how brilliant the Doctor is.
Also Professor Riversong goes 'your face' meaning she may know him as another regenration of him (a future regenration) also she can't have been with him as his 9th regenration (chris eccleston) because she says how young his eyes look and if she had met him as eccleston his eyes would have been the youngest she'd seen.
So basically she is a new character who is quite fascinating because I want to know how she knows the doctor in all its detail.
I thought the episode was really good, especially the bit about the vashta nerada (sp?) being 'the dust in the sunbeam' that made it more creepy. Now I can't wait until next week to find out how they solve it all.

i don't think its out of the question that its jack. the guy can live for millions of years and he goes from jack to the face of bo, in that period i guess anything can happen.
i hope its someone we're familiar with, i like the mystery around the doctor and i'd rather it be someone from a period of his life we know about. i don't like learning new things about the doctor, like he was once a father and so on, i like his history being vague.

Is Eccleston younger than Tennant? He certainly looks older than Tennant, ah well. As long as it's not sh-t I don't think I'll mind.
Anyway. Donna's not dead, she's just been 'saved' whatever that means.
I reckon it means all the people who have been saved are locked away in some computertypebasethingy. So they're not dead, but they're not alive.
