Does this count as SI?

Does Not allowing sores to heal count as SI? I havent Cut, But I have been "Picking at the sores" cause they itched. sorry if that grossed anyone else out.

idk if it counts as si, but picking at the scabs will make the scars worse
try to itch around them, i know it sucks
actually i think some people consider picking at sores as si, but it kind of depends on your personal definition.
to me it doesnt seem like that should count, cause if it were an accidental cut you'd do the same

Well if youre doing it to deliberately hurt yourself then yes =/
If not then no..

yes I think it depends on if you're actually doing it with the intent to hurt yourself. I know how badly it can itch and more than once i've caught myself absently scratching at the scabs, which i wouldn't consider as SI. As said earlier try not to scratch because it can make the scars worse...
