My GP diagnosed me with depression, and referred to my eating problems as an eating disorder.
At times, my counsellor has referred to my thoughts as 'anorexic' |:

I've been diagnosed with depression and schizophrenia by my psychiatrist, and my therapist (for self harm) has mentioned eating disorder a few times.

I was diagnosed with:

Severe treatment resistant depression
Severe anxiety and phobic tendencies (Won't go into that)
Borderline Personality Disorder
Also, undiagnosed as of now but it's been discussed a lot only recently and the diagnoses are looming:
EDNOS and OCD

I have eh.. "troubles" with substance addiction.. And sleep disturbance of a few varieties.. Although they're not a diagnoses as such..

Plain and simple Borderline Personality with SI. But my friend and my partner think it is linked with something else, and personality disorders do tend to? I'm not sure, he is the one who does all the research for me!
Too many physical disabilities to mention.
Oh yeah also poss EDNOS

You shouldnt worry about a diagnosis, it only complicates things. I have found that it usually changes depending on which dr. you are talking too. They all have different opinions. What should be important is that the treatment you are recieving is working and is beneficial to you.

^^^ I agree, i don't think having a particular diagnosis is really important or necessarily helpful. Everyone is different and needs different treatment depending on their circumstances. Diagnoses can put you in a box which isn't always the best thing.
Although it can help you to understand your behaviour and feelings and not feel so alone with it?

Agreed, it doesn't matter much even tho it might help some people to know their complaints are valid.

I've been diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder of the Depressive Type, as well as Schizotypal Personality Disorder. I'd never even heard of these until they diagnosed me... lol ;x
