- tells me when a washing machine is free in our laundry room [2 washers and 2 driers for 100 plus rooms!!!!!]
- actually saves me climbing up and down many stairs and collects all my laundry for me - including the stray sock that I left in the drier and had to go all the way back for!
- automatically brings the maintenance man to fix our boiler immediately when our boiler goes out! Well, it was sort of immediate today, but it did involve me going into the office to report it...!
What kind of mundane everyday things would you like an app for?!

And an app to tell me where the hell all my pens keep vanishing to.
and an app to tell me where I've left my keys.

There are tracking apps like that, Find My Friends is the one the iphone app store recommends.
The app basically can tell you to location of any friends in your contact lists, and with iphones of their own.
Handy for those times when you need to find a friend in a crowded public place.

If those apps are anything like Siri then they're crap >.< I swore at Siri once and it told me there was no need for that language and then when I tried to show other people it just pretended not to understand what I was saying :( Bad times
