I ate my DINNER at about 6.15 tonight and it felt very wrong!x
There are times to stay put, and what you want will come to you.
But there are times to go out into the world and find such a thing for yourself.
I aint no abacus but you can count on me.
What's the difference between tea and dinner? I'm confused. I've never called dinner tea before.
If I was to say, then lunch is at 1pm or 2pm, dinner is between 6 and 7pm, but to be honest I am a bit of a mixed up eater. Depends on my mood what time I eat at.
Lunch = cold food (maybe some pasta, light stuff)
Dinner = hot food (had in the evening, the main meal)
Tea = cold food (had in the evening, like lunch but evening time)
So if I've had dinner at lunch time, I will have tea in the evening.
If I have lunch at lunch time, I will have dinner in the evening.

I'm from Yorkshire originally, but I've moved about all over and now I seem to call every meal apart from Breakfast dinner. As in I have my dinner at lunch/dinner time and my dinner at tea/dinner time. I confuse myself.
When I'm at home I have my tea(dinner) at about half 5/6, but when I'm at mine, it just depends what time I get in from uni/work/what time my gym classes are, so I ususally eat between about haf 7 and 9.

My mum makes my dinner & it's made for whenever Eastenders is on. ¬_¬
So Monday & Friday it's 8pm, Tuesday & Thursday it's 7.30pm (it's usually about 10 minutes late though :P).
Wednesday tends to end up being about 7.45-8pm because Eastenders isn't on, haha.
I'd eat at around 7-7.30pm if I had the choice I think.

If I ate my dinner at 5 I would be hungry again by 8!x

I'm from Norfolk (brought up by my mum from Yorkshire) and I have dinner about 12 - 1 and tea 5.30 - 6.30. I had an argument with my friend from Essex about the names of the meals, I said I've always had dinner then tea, never lunch! She said you don't go out for and evening meal for 'tea' you go out for dinner! I guess she's right!
