My recovery poem.
Hey Guys,
I wrote this poem (not sure if its any good) but i wrote it in a sort of response to another poem i wrote when i was quite ill and so i just wanted to do something more positive :) I know its only short but i might add more too it later. I also like Rhymes, ha ha :p

The Future
It’s been a while since you have seen me that way,
When I used to restrict and slowly decay.
But, just because you cant see my pain doesn’t mean it never existed,
I have just fought hard and resisted.
It’s not worth going back for and everyone can see,
There is now a future ahead of me.
What path I take is in my hands,
Instead of crying in hospitals, it is far away I stand.
All the pain I felt before is still inside,
But its better to feel alive.
Feeling numb is no cure for loneliness,
And contentment with my life is nothing but a quest.
With the people I have and music in my soul,
I know ill make it through till I grow old.
One day I hope that when I look back,
I will have done all of things that I wanted and make you proud at last.
