Spotify.....greatest music player yet??

I didn't know were to put this tbh
BUT
this bit of software is the greatest thing iv found in ages!!
defiantly an iTunes killer!

http://www.spotify.com

It allows you to stream LOADS of music for FREEEEEE
(if you sign up for a free account you have to listen to an advert every 10 songs or so)

Its the perfect distraction as there is shizz loads of music to listen to! and thousands more get added every week!

Its still new and in beta tests, so there are holes in the music list
and I was gutted they didnt have anyone off the Epitaph label, but people say this will be fixed soon!!

I don't know if this available outside of the UK and mainland Europe . But say on here if you can get one it!!!!

You can also search by genre in the program. but this is a little dodgy at the mo! (since when has killswitch engage been grindcore )
My fav search is genre:Screamo

x

While it's okay to listen to songs I would like to have on my ipod in the future it's seeming to be **** at times when it comes to me wanting to listen to some albums and they aren't even there!

But overall it was worth downloading. ;)

Yeah it is handy if you're at a friends house who doesn't share the same tastes or vise versa if they're at your house. =P

also. if you cant be bothered to make your own playlists.. or just fancy something a bit different

http://www.sharemyplaylists.com

works in sync with spotify, and people put their playlists up and you can add your own, you just click play and it makes it a playlist on your spotify =]

It's not available for the US. And there are other things like this available (http://www.meemix.com/app/) for example. I don't get what's so great about it...

This is awesome!
I'm rather happy with this one ^_^
I just listen to music on my laptop anyway, so it really doesn't matter to me that I can't download it or anything :D
Thanks for sharing (:

It's alright. I mean, it works well, and it's good for listening to songs.

But I like iTunes because it suggests songs, it knows what you like and finds songs like that. And you've got to create playlists if you want to listen to something other than an album or a particular artist.

But yeah, s'ok.

after a while I have grown fed up of it.
Most of the time it has never even heard of the bands I want or only has 3 or less of their songs.
